PEEPS FUN BUS

Throughout 2003 two PEEPS Fun Buses are traveling around the United States to promote PEEPS; one bus on the east coast and one on the west. The bus was here in Washington DC during February but unfortunately it was during one of the worst snowstorms this area has seen in years. I did not get a chance to visit the bus while it was here.

After checking the PEEPS website, I found that the bus was going to be making a stop in Richmond, VA. It was scheduled to be at the Richmond Metro Zoo on Saturday, March 15th. My friend Laura Jane and I decided to take a road trip in her Mini Cooper to go see the bus. Richmond is only about an 1.5 hour drive from DC.

We arrived at the Zoo around 2pm and found the bus in place and the PEEPS Crew greeting patrons. The bus is very cool; a school bus painted green, stenciled with pictures of PEEPS products, and a huge yellow PEEP on the top of the bus! Craft tables were setup under a fold-out awning.

Inside the bus, Peepsville, patrons could walk through and look at various displays of PEEPS products. Kids could spin a wheel and win PEEPS prizes. Everyone was given samples of PEEPS. It was great fun for adult and child alike.

If the bus is in your area it's definitely worth the trip to see it! You can visit the official Marshmallow PEEPS® website at www.marshmallowpeeps.com to locate the bus and it's schedule. Call the 800 phone number on the site for exact locations in your city.

My friends Laura Jane asked:
"What's in the PEEPS First Aid kit -- SUGAR?!"

A craft one of the PEEPS fans made.
